ESSIE - NOT JUST A PRETTY FACE

Essie describes this color as a "a naturally pinkish nude" and I can't disagree with it. It is a nude, a nice nude, but in my opinion it would look better on a darker skintone. (I'm NW15-20 at MAC, just for reference.) 

The application is not bad, the formula is good too. The first coat is really sheer and a little bit streaky, when you apply the second coat it is a little bit more opaque, but not entirely and it is still streaky a tiny bit. The third coat is nicely opaque, but I think you definitely need 3 coats. It dries nicely, not too quick but not too long either.

Overall it is a nice color if you are looking for a pink nude color. But honestly I don't reach for this product that often simply because it just does not suit very well to my skintone.

INTRODUCTION

I want to share some nail polish reviews and comparisons with you, dear reader. I really do not have the biggest nail polish collection in the whole world, but I have a decent amount of nail polishes. (By decent, I mean that normally people do not have this much nail polish, but I don't collect them.) And when I was interested in some polishes with reviews I could not find any.
